Our Treatment

Inlay and Onlay Porcelain Filling

The inlay and onlay treatments, which are mainly used in dental clinics /consulting rooms which focuses on quality rather than quantity, are preferred if a more complex restoration will be applied to the teeth.

When considering the complete treatment of the tooth, it can be deemed as an alternative to the preventive dentistry. The porcelain fillings are an excellent choice when your tooth decay damage is more than normal.

The ordinary filling is a good alternative for the restoration of the tooth when it receives minor damage, but it is incapable of treating larger damages. We use porcelain fillings to prevent complete loss of the tooth and to maintain healthy tooth tissue. These ceramic materials that we mentioned have excellent function and aesthetic properties.

Inlay and Onlay Porcelain Filling

Successful healing can be provided by means of the porcelain fillings in large decays that occur in your teeth and will not be treated with the ordinary filling.

Inlay

If only one surface (top or side) of the tooth is damaged, the inlay filling will be a sufficient treatment. It will completely close the cavity in the tooth and strengthen the tooth structure.

Onlay

If there is damage both in top and side in a tooth, the onlay filling process will be applied. Besides closing the openings, it will strengthen the tooth structure and increase the stability of the tooth.

We use the highest quality materials while producing our prosthetic works in our laboratory. Among these, the materials such as zirconium, e-max, and glass ceramics can be mentioned. All prostheses produced in our clinic have a 5-year warranty!

Advantages of Inlay and Onlay fillings
Perfect harmony

Your filling is produced in your laboratory from your digital measurement taken through the intraoral scanner used in our clinic and applied to your tooth permanently by providing a perfect harmony.

Color

The color of the porcelain filling to be applied is chosen to be compatible with the remaining teeth of the patient in the laboratory environment. The materials that we use are resistant to coloration and will maintain their aesthetic quality for many years.

Tooth tissue recovery

When placing your porcelain filling, only the damaged part of the tooth is intervened and the rest of your natural tooth is left untouched. It is also very important to use your natural tooth as a basis for the tooth restoration and to restore the function of the tooth to a healthy condition.

Easier tooth brushing

All risky areas that food can escape and result in decays as a result, will be eliminated by means of the fully compatible porcelain filling applied to your tooth.

Chance of treatment in hard-to-reach areas

We can use porcelain filling in the areas that cannot be reached with the ordinary filling. The porcelain filling gives very good results especially in damages between two teeth.

Strength and durability

The porcelain fillings are very robust and make a great contribution to the return of previous health of the damaged tooth due to decay.

For the production and placement of porcelain fillings, it will be adequate to visit our clinic twice. On the same day, we can apply porcelain fillings. In your first appointment, your mouth measurement taken digitally with an intraoral scanner is sent to our dental laboratory.

The color tone that is appropriate for your tooth is selected, manufactured and your porcelain filling can be applied to your tooth in the evening of the same day. With the intraoral scanner and CAD/CAM system that we use, we have reduced the error margin to zero.
